Cheryl Johnson is a life long
Maine resident. She has always been interested in
art and writing since childhood. In 2000, she
graduated from the Maine Collage Of Art as a
"non-traditionally" aged student. Working full
time to support herself and her four children,
while taking classes. Using what she has learned
and loved, she has published ten children's books
that she wrote and illustrated with many more
projects in mind. She is currently a puzzle
designer for a high end wooden jigsaw puzzle
company based in Vermont, but her first love has
always been illustration. She is active in her
town's art guild and exhibits her paintings and
prints in several local venues.
